Hello and welcome to The Springhead Film Company’s official website! Your source for all things Springhead including updates, photos and videos from all our projects. We are thrilled to finally launch the website as we’ve already had a pretty exciting 2015.
We kicked off this year by shooting horror short The Prey over three freezing nights in February. The Prey was made in association with Mini Productions, whom we’ve worked with before, and new online short film platform Findie. The film starred Springhead regular Sam Gittins (Howl, Ripper Street), James Alexandrou (Eastenders) and our amazing leading lady Rebecca Van Cleave (Game of Thrones, The Royals), who must be praised for her complete professionalism and unwavering enthusiasm whilst being put through hell! It was a very tough shoot but it was all worth it as we’re extremely proud of the final film. The Prey is already on its way to festivals around the world and we have high hopes for it.
Since The Prey shoot we’ve also travelled the UK shooting music promos and worked with dance choreographer Rhiannon Faith at the Barbican. In the coming months we’ll be turning our attention to new projects and we have some very exciting things on the horizon. One project in particular we can’t wait to tell you more about, our first feature film…
