We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our debut feature film, Sorority, has been long-listed for a BIFA (British International Film Award) for Best Debut Screenwriter (James Webber) sponsored by Film4. The full ‘New Talent’ longlist is now up on the BIFA website and has also been published in Variety, Screen Daily and The Hollywood Reporter.
The 39 longlisted filmmakers in the new talent category will be invited to join BIFA’s Springboard scheme, a tailored program of professional development, peer-to-peer support, mentoring, networking and skills enhancement aimed to nurture emerging talent as they build on the success of their first features.
The final five nominations in each category will be announced on November 3rd and the winners will be revealed at the ceremony on December 5th.
